Thomas L. Berkley Square Solar Project
About The Project
The Thomas Berkley Square Solar Project was the vision of Raymon Dones (deceased), a principal and co-founder of Strategic Urban Development Alliance (SUDA) with his son Alan Dones.
As was planned from the beginning, the building was outfitted with 1,100 SunPower SPR-205 solar modules with generation capacity of 199 kilowatts – equivalent to the power needed for about 40 Bay Area homes.
- 1,100 solar modules
- Cover 16,000 square feet
- 36% more energy efficient
- Saves tens-of-thousands of dollars each year
